VOCABULARY LIST 4 - Computer Applications



Alignment- this refers to the position of the text. Text can be aligned left (the default), center, right, or justified. It can also be vertically aligned top (the default), center or bottom.

Font - This refers to a complete set of characters, in a specific face, style and size. The default is usually Times New Roman, 12 point.

Serif - a font type that has lines, curves or edges extending from the ends of the letter (ex: Times New Roman).

Sans Serif - a font type that has straight edges (ex: Arial).

Script - a font type that looks like handwriting.
