Vocabulary List 14- Computer Applications
Cell cursor - the heavy line that outlines the active cell.
Name box - the area to the left of the formula bar that identifies the cell address of the active cell.
Cell address - cells are identified by cell coordinates. Letters identify columns, numbers identify rows. The column letter and row number identify the cell.
Label - the first character in a cell determines its status as either a label or a value. A label begins with alphabetic text and or a symbol.
Value - when the first character entered in a cell is a number, it creates a value.
