This new bridge certainly improved access to the trails. The spillway, although dry much of the year, has recently been flowing frequently. The cherry tree near here, although providing welcome shade on summer days, is site of a massive infestation of tent catepillars. Just on the uphill side here one can see attempts to reclaim the hillside from erosion. The table here provides a good rest and view of the scope of the Pond.
