• Cooperative Learning: Cooperative learning is a generic term for various small group interactive instructional procedures. Students work together on academic tasks in small groups to help themselves and their teammates learn together.
• Kagan's Cooperative Learning: Kagan Cooperative Learning is based on four basic principles called PIES. The acronym stands for: Positive Interdependence, Individual Accountability, Equal Participation, and Simultaneous Interaction. In order for cooperative learning groups to be effective, all four of the basic principles must be present. It is through PIES that groups are managed and assessed.

• Tapped In: TAPPED IN? is the online workplace of an international community of education professionals. • WISE: a simple yet powerful learning environment where students examine real-world evidence and analyze current scientific controversies.
• Walden's Path:The Path Authoring Tool enables the teacher to create, modify, validate, and reuse paths over the World-Wide Web and over paths that have been developed previously. The Path Server is the implementation means through which students use the paths. Design and refinement of the tools will be based on interactions with focus groups of primary and secondary school teacher in our area.
• Thinkquest: Contains 5000 unique educational web sites that have been created through ThinkQuest competitions and programs; they are built by kids for kids to use and learn.
• Blue Ribbon Learning Sites: Blue Web'n is an online library of 1200+ outstanding Internet sites categorized by subject, grade level, and format (lessons, activities, projects, resources, references, & tools).

Teachers! you can learn more about the video resources that inspired our exhibits and visit a related teacher professional development workshop or course available for free from Annenberg/CPB.

• AACE: The Association (founded in 1981) is an international, educational and professional not-for profit organization dedicated to the advancement of the knowledge, theory, and quality of learning and teaching at all levels with information technology.
