The TeacherBridge system supports standard HTML documents created in HTML editors like Front Page and Netscape Composer. Netscape Composer is a component of Netscape Browser software, and it can be downloaded free from Netscape. Netscape Composer is an HTML editor that provides a preview of the HTML source code being written.
When you edit a TeacherBridge web page, you are editing the HTML source code directly. TeacherBridge also provides a small set of shorthand notation for composing web pages in addtion to standard HTML tags which work. Note, when you upload a web page (HTML document) to TeacherBridge, you must upload all of the pictures or other files associated with that page to the appropriate TeacherBridge folder. After you upload an HTML document using the "Full Editor", you can choose to convert the page either to "raw HTML Web Page" or "Interpreted (shorthand) Web Page".
A quick list "Cheatsheet" of basic HTML and TeacherBridge notation appears at the bottom of the page, when you edit a TeacherBridge web page using the "Web Editor".
There are a number of quick guides to basic HTML tags on the Web. WebMonkey's HTML Cheatsheet is a nice reference to most HTML tags you'll need.
