Java Webstart
A helper application (Virtual Machine) required to run the Bridge system Full Editor that coordinates the system tools and provides a means for manipulating content and data and interface structure for interactive and synchronous tools of the Bridge system.

Java WebStart is now part of the standard package with Java environments, and it is also packaged with Mac OS X. WebStart can be installed seperately on Windows systems here:

    • Download only Java Webstart (for Windows) OR the latest full Java
    • Save this file to your desktop (or somewhere else on your local drive) then double-click it to run the installer. This may take several minutes to complete. This version of WebStart should work with Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, and XP.
    • Mac users: If you are using MacOS X, WebStart comes as part of the operating system. Unfortunately, WebStart is not available for earlier versions of Mac OS (e.g., OS9). You can however, edit many kinds of objects on TeacherBridge directly from your web browser, without webstart.
    • Other platforms or operating systems: Contact us and we'll try to find a way for you to run webstart.
