Passwords

To change the MOO password, open the full editor and double-click on the "accounts" object in the Discussion Cafe directory. On the "General Configuration" tab, make sure that "All users have the same password" is selected and that "Allow any user name with this password" is checked. When you click the "Set..." button you will be prompted for a new password.

One you have set the password you can close the accounts window. The changes will be automatically saved.

Resetting the MOO

To reset the chat sessions, go to each room in the MOO and right-click on the chat object. (Mac users can ctrl-click.) In the popup menu, choose "Chat" and then "Clear chat...". This will save the current contents of the chat as a timestamped version that can be retrieved later, then clear the chat. (You can also do this from the tabs on the Roof, instead of going to each room.)
