Restoring Virginia's Watersheds

Seedling Survival- 2007


In the spring of 2007, 5144 youth planted 19,349 hardwood seedlings to help restore the Chesapeake Bay watershed, with 86 % survival after one month. The first week of June, 4-H members checked on their seedlings' survival and reported back to their 4-H club leader or teacher.
