![]() ![]() ![]() Books CMS library has a large collection of fiction and nonfiction books for student checkout. In fact, we have over 10,000 books that can be checked out! Students may check out up to three books at one time for a period of three weeks. If you need longer than three weeks, you may bring the book(s) in to be renewed for three additional weeks. If you have overdue book(s), you may not check out any books until the overdue book(s) are returned. Students have a regularly scheduled library time within their Language Arts class every three weeks. However, if you wish to visit the library more often, you are welcome! You may come during your advisory in the morning, or at other times throughout the day as long as you have a note from your teacher. The CMS Library has a large reference collection that may not be checked out. These materials are for in-library use only. We also have many magazines for in-library use. Some popular titles include Teen People, Surf, Cat Fancy, Dog Fancy, and Horse Illustrated. Computers Several computers are located in the Library/Media Center. These computers may be used by classes or by individual students if a class is not scheduled. If you are visiting without a class, you must bring a note and sign in/out at the front desk before using a computer. Computers are to be used for educational purposes only. Please refer to the Internet Use Policy or ask a librarian if you have questions regarding this. Before printing, students must obtain permission from either a teacher or a librarian. Only school-related materials may be printed.
