I was born in Radford, Virginia and grew up in Blacksburg. I attended grades 1-7 at Gilbert Linkous Elementary School and graduated from Blacksburg High School in 1976. I've worked in the CMS Counseling Office for 19 years and love working with middleschoolers. My primary duties are taking care of student records, scheduling, and grading, but I wear many different hats in the Counseling Office! I've been married for 28 years, have 2 married daughters, and a son who attends Pensacola Christian College. My spoiled brat puppy "Lady" pretty much gets whatever she wants whenever she wants it! I love football, Nascar, and the beach, and my hobbies are gardening, counted cross stitching, reading, and, yes, television (I limit myself to one hour an evening!) I hate exercise, but do it anyway. My mother drilled the Bible verse "Be ye kind, one to another..." in my head as a child, and that's how I try to live.
