Newsjournals

Due Dates:
1st period--Monday
2nd period--Tuesday
3rd period--Wednesday
4th period--Thursday
7th period--Friday

Newsjournals are due each week. Students are responsible for finding a news article that relates to our World History and Geography course. The article may be from an online source or a newspaper.

Students must locate and read the article. Students should then type a one-page summary of the article, retelling the story in their own words. The concluding paragraph should contain their thoughts, feelings, or opinions on what they have read. Students should be able to express how the tiopic of the article is related to our World History and Geography course.

When formating the paper--students must cite the article source at the top of the page (the same as a bibliographic source in a research paper.) The paper should be double-spaced, 12-inch black font, with 1-inch margins.
