Credit: One (Note: 9th and 10th grade Health, Driver Education and Physical Education are requirements for graduation).
COURSE DESCRIPTION
- Health and Physical Education 9 (73000)
Health Education units include the major components of physical and mental health, nutrition, disease, consumer education, first aid and safety, environmental health, drug education and family life. Physical Education includes physical fitness as well as units in the following sports: soccer, volleyball, basketball, and flag football. Students also learn the value of participating in lifetime activities as aerobics, archery and badminton.
