Spring Plant Sale
The Horticulture students' major project and fundraiser for the year is the operation of the school greenhouse. Students learn the fundamentals of operating a greenhouse by actually doing it. All proceeds are reinvested back into the Horticulture program!
Students grow plants and vegetables throughout the entire year and then hold a GIGANTIC plant sale open to the community the week before Mother's Day.
The 2006 sale will be the week before Mother's Day at the Blacksburg High School Greenhouses.
Plant varieties and prices will be posted as the semester progresses.
