Cooperative Education at Blacksburg High School offers students an opportunity to attend classes in the morning and work in the afternoon.
On-the-job training correlates with classroom instruction and job skill training which is provided by the coordinator. This assists in developing a smooth transition from the classroom to the workplace.
Employers and coordinators work together to provide the student with knowledge and skills necessary for successful employment in today's job market.
